Bill was born and bred in Herefordshire, christened in All Saints Church in Hereford. Bill grew up going to Hereford Cathedral Prep School and Lucton School and then joined Russell, Baldwin & Bright (Brightwells) in 1963 to do 3 years articles and training in auctioneering and estate agency.
Bill has been in the property industry operating in Herefordshire and Overseas building up experience for over 50 years, most recently setting up Jackson Equestrian in Chester.
Jackson Property has offices in Hereford, Leominster, Shrewsbury, Chester and London covering Hereford city, Leominster town and rural areas of Herefordshire, Powys, Shropshire and Cheshire.
Dylan Jackman-SmithOffice Dog
Dyaln is the adorable Minature Dachsund the is often found in the Hereford Office greeting clients and colleagues. Dylan is more than happy to receive treats and cuddles from anyone walking past the office, or when on his works around Hereford Cathedral.

Matthew JacksonManaging Director
Matthew was born and raised in Herefordshire and from an early age helped in the family business in the school holidays.
After university I went on to cut my teeth with the largest national Estate Agency group Countrywide before returning to Jackson Property in the spring of 2003 and have amassed over 20 years of experience. I am a keen sportsman and can be found most Sundays in the winter coaching the mini section at Luctonians Rugby Club including my son Hugo. I am also a keen walker and have recenlty completed the 3 Peaks Challenge.
I started my career in Agency in 2009. Starting as a junior for a multi branch agency in Worcester, before quickly being promoted to a senior and then moving onto to become a Sales Manager for a growing independant. Habving gained cast experience and knowledge, I decided to work in the City I live and love and joined team Jackson in 2018, becoming a Director in 2019. I love giving advice and helping clients with their biggest and most stressful situation of their lives. Working with my wife is brilliant, however outside of work I like to travel and spend time with our office dog Dylan and daughter Emily
Born and raised just outside The Midlands and pursued a career within the finance industry before moving to the Shropshire/Herefordshire borders. I entered the Estate Agency industry in 1993 and have over 25 years’ experience within sales, lettings, commercial property, land and new homes and all other aspects of property related business. I have covered a wide area within my career which includes Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Powys and Shropshire and have a wealth of knowledge throughout the four Counties. I now live in Luston with his my wife Rebecca, our young son Miles and French Bulldog Milo.
I enjoy walking, socialising and holidays, especially in our beloved VW Campervan, I also have a keen interest in sports cars and motorbikes.
Mandy was born in Marston, just outside the pretty black and white village of Pembridge and has lived and worked in Herefordshire all of her life.
I was educated at The Minster School, then pursued a career in the hospitality industry until I left to raise my family. I joined Jacksons in 1992, since then dealing with every aspect of the business and latterly specialising in the letting business to become the Lettings Manager and in 2019 I was made a Director within the firm after many years of loyal service.
I lives in Hyde Ash, Ivington with my partner Nigel and enjoy walking, socialising, gardening. I am currently renovating my own property near Leominster.
Richard BurtonDirector - Chester & Shrewsbury
Richard has been director at Jackson Property since 2007. With over 19 years experience in property, Richard is a safe pair of hands with all of your equestrian property needs. Day to day, Richard is usually found in the office dealing with property sales or out on the road undergoing valuations.
Other than working with some of the finest rural, equestrian and commercial properties in the country, Richard is also very comfortable in the saddle. He hung up his silks in 2011 after a very successful jockey career; at that time having won the most British Point to Points with 414 winners.
In his spare time, Richard still enjoys being on board, but at a slightly slower pace- teaching his young daughters, Bella and Iris how to ride.
James GaribboLettings Manager - Hereford
James has been an integral part of team Jackson since 2017. Having started my career in estate agency in 2005 now specialising in property management covering Hereford City, Mid Wales and the surrounding areas. I can advise on all aspects of letting to ensure both landlords and tenants receive a great service and smooth tenancy while in residence. Living within the market town of Kington with my wife and children. I have a keen interest in cooking and music and can be found either in the kitchen or playing guitar when I find free time.
James WillisDirector - Chester
James has been part of the Jackson Team since 2016 and has taken on the challenge of expanding the rural and development aspects of the business including rural residential property and management. James was brought up on a dairy farm in Cheshire and still plays an active part in the family farm. He is now based in the Cheshire Office and has over 19 years’ experience in the property and land industry, being a member of the RICS and a Fellow of the Agricultural Valuers Association. Having trained as a land agent in Chester, he is well placed to advise clients on a wide range of land and property matters. In the seasons, James enjoys days out shooting with his dog Bailey and fishing with friends.
Gillon CrowLettings Manager - Shrewsbury & Chester
Gillon joined the Jackson team in 2011 and has since had a wide spread of responsibility across all fields within the company. Gillon is now the lettings manager and director, but you will also find him out on the road undergoing valuations. Gillon is well placed to advise on renting, selling and buying equestrian properties, having been brought up around horses from a young age. Gillon is also an active amateur jockey, last year competing for the third time in the Foxhunter’s race at Aintree.
Rebecca Jackman-SmithSenior Negotiator & Equestrian Specialist
After leaving University with a First Class Equine Degree, I found my niche in the equestrian property market. Having worked for independent agents within the region, I have an all-round knowledge of the sales market and now utilise this knowledge for the equestrian industry, to help our clients find their ideal home for horse and human. I am also a qualified a member of ARLA, so I am able to advise landlords and tenants within the rental market.
Outside of work I love exploring the world and spening time with my husband Nathan, our daughter Emily and all the animals we have acquired
Michelle O'GormanNegotiator - Hereford
Michelle started with team Jackson in 2018, having worked in estate agency for around 6 years with another local company. I love my job because there's never a dull moment! You meet people from all walks of life and help them with one of the most stressful things they will ever do, buy and sell their home. You also get to see all of Herefordshire's beauty in countryside and homes, always expanding your local knowledge. Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends and travelling as much as I can!
Millie HindsApprentice Surveyor
Millie joined Jackson Property as an apprentice in 2018 and is studying for her Rural Chartered Surveyor Degree, part-time at Harper Adams university. The apprenticeship is a new course for Harper Adams in Shropshire and is undertaken over five academic years with teaching delivered in weekly blocks, spread across the academic year. Being brought up around horses and being a keen horse rider herself, she is able to understand the wants and needs of someone looking to buy or rent an equestrian property. In her role, Millie is learning on the job- undertaking all general office duties and shadowing the office on valuations, getting a taste of everything a surveyor is required to do
Jason WoodAgency, Mangement & Planning
Jason joined the team at Jackson Property in 2017 after completing his honours degree in Rural Property Management at Harper Adams University. Having previously been employed as an assistant land agent, Jason came to Jackson’s as an agent specialising in equestrian property sales, estate management and agricultural planning matters. Jason is currently undertaking his APC with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, whilst completing a masters degree in Real Estate at Reading University College of Estate Management. In his spare time, Jason enjoys all country pursuits and riding his own horses.
Gabrielle YeomansAdministrator & Assistant
Gabrielle has worked in administration before, on reception and in retail. Joining team Jackson initially as solely an administrator, I have expanded my role and now help with lettings legislation updates and social media advertising. I Love working alongside management and building relationships with new and existing clients. You tend to become a small part of their lives for a bit and it is wonderful to assist them with moving on to the next stage of their lives.

Lorna joined Jacksons in 2017. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and taking her Westie, Alfie for long walks.
