The UK housing market & most of the UK economy has been put hold.  New Sales have dropped dramatically,  physical viewings are banned and only a handful of new properties have appeared for sale.

Many estate agents and businesses are currently not working, staff have been placed on Furlough, and those that are, are trying hard to keep their client's homes marketed and in the public eye for when lockdown ends.
Some people say it feels like doom and gloom, to which 6 weeks into lockdown, it almost feels like it.

Look deeper though, there is hope for the future. The future being when lockdown ends, people still want to get moved, housing is hoping to be back underway with safety procedures in place, to which we should know more in the coming weeks.

We have decided not to do to the stats for Herefordshire this month, as they are excessively low, however average property views per day are around 40% down, which is much better than the national average of 60%

Estate Agents, inlcuding Jackson Property, are now planning for the comeback, hopefully this month. Many agents have a database of clients, people still needing to sell and have adapted their procedures to accomodate where they can.

We are able to offer Virtual valuations, virtual viewings, Matterport viewings 24/7 and video walk through tours. We have adapted our policies and viewings procedures and are able to work remotely from anywhere safe in the county.

Herefordshire is a lovely place with lovely people. Lets keep positive about the blip and keep people moving.
