Job Description

To help us continue our change and growth, we’re seeking a Operations Manager/Director to manage and lead our highly skilled teams across our Leominster & Hereford Branches. The aim is to synchronise the regional branches processes & policies throughout.

As an ideal candidate, you will have proven management experience in a highly dynamic setting. Your organisational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. You’ll become a hierarchy within the company and manage all aspects of the business, including the procedures, policies and staff. Working closely with the Managing Director & Chairman (executive-level-management) to strategise and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity, service and success at Jackson Property.

Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

  • Maximise efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity

  • Have a working hand in the development of financial and budgetary plans

  • Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement and implementing when necessary

  • Maximise the Jackson Property brand within the region and bringing in further working relations with the Equestrian arm to the business

  • Analyse all aspects of the business and work with executive-level management to implement upgraded procedures to keep the business at the fore front of our industry

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives

  • Build and maintain relationships with all departments, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals

  • Devise strategies to ensure growth, and identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximise output and minimise costs

  • Uphold organisation policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed

  • Lead teams with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment across all areas of the business

  • Further develop and implement marketing techniques that will continue to grow the business and push the business to challenge for number 1 in the region

  • Liaise with executive-level-management on a regular basis on any immediate changes needed to the business through staffing, policies and budgets

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years in leadership role in the appropriate field

  • Knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, employee management, marketing and Proptech software

  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity

  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands

  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines

  • Understanding of traditional and marketing methods, including print, digital, social media

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with budget and business plan development

  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity

  • Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings

  • Masterful organisational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media

  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis

  • Experience in brand growth and growing a department or business
